Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is a well-known American actress also known as a producer, director and actress. Her work has been recognized for her roles in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with several awards for her work which includes an Oscar. Actresses have a long career of involvement in Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various projects. Passionate about acting since her childhood, she performed Helen Keller in a play during the 5th grade. Mumps made her lose her hearing in one of her ears, but this did not stop her from following her dreams. She was a drama major at the college, and then moved from Pittsburgh to New York City to follow her dream. In a chance encounter she became stuck in an elevator alongside playwright Beth Henley and the two collaborated in the play 'The Broadway Crimes of the Heart' which became Hunter's debut. Following her move into Los Angeles she tried to obtain film roles and was offered the role of a co-star for the role of a supporting character in Swing Shift. Her work spans over thirty years and she's appeared in a variety of TV films as well as series and films. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and also an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
